Mark Gearing, Partner, Field Fisher

Mark is a partner in the London office of European law firm Fieldfisher LLP, specialising in equity based remuneration and incentives.

His practice covers the design, implementation, communication and operation of all forms of employee share plan.

Mark advises on the tax, corporate and regulatory

aspects of share plans, and he regularly negotiates share valuations with HM Revenue & Customs in connection with the grant of tax efficient EMI options.

Mark's clients range from start-ups seeking seed capital to larger VC and private equity backed businesses, through to companies listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. He also advises management teams on buyout transactions and individual sellers and founders on planning for an exit.
