About The Brew’s coworking and office spaces

What is a coworking office space?

A coworking office space is a place where businesses of all shapes and sizes (from freelancers and SMEs to larger companies) can enjoy flexible, shared facilities.

Our coworking spaces provide everything you’d expect from a traditional office (plus we throw in weekly treats for good measure), but more conveniently, you only pay for the space as and when you need it, there are no hidden costs.

Is it possible to trial the service first?

In order to give you the chance to get a feel for our services and benefits, we invite you to try out our French-style café located in Shoreditch, affectionately known as The Coffice. Here, you’ll enjoy superfast WiFi, plug points at every table and a warm welcome from our friendly staff and community. This will provide a window into how our coworking spaces are run.

It’s also worth noting that we are the only UK-based provider that offers tiered membership plans.

Will our office space be shared or private?

The good news is that we offer both; our coworking spaces have a mixture of open-plan workspaces and private offices – so the choice is entirely yours to fit around what you need. Free-to-use meeting rooms are bookable on any membership plan, and comfortable break-out areas offer a little more privacy as and when you need it.

Will I need to provide resources or infrastructure?

All you need is your PC, Mac or laptop to get started. We provide immediate access to superfast 1Gb internet, ergonomic chairs and printers, alongside a kitchen with microwaves, kettles, filtered water and complimentary Fairtrade tea and coffee.

If required, we can provide a secure, private VPN network, and we can also cater to any specific connectivity needs you may have.

When is The Brew open?

Private office and coworking membership gives you access to our locations 27/4, 365 days a year. If you’re working, then we’re open.

If you’re a hotdesker, you can access the hotdesk hub 9am-5pm.

Can I bring clients or guests to The Brew?

Yes, no problem. Our coworking spaces offer both formal meeting rooms and more relaxed settings, so you can choose your environment to reflect your business ethos and the nature of the meeting.

Can I use The Brew as my registered business address?

Yes, you can use our office address as your main business address. If you don’t have a physical office space, then don’t worry, we may still be able to help through our London virtual office service.

Do you have virtual offices?

Yes, we have a selection of London virtual office packages designed to suit your needs. Click here to find out more about our London virtual office option.

Are your office spaces well connected to public transport?

You can find all our office spaces across Shoreditch and Central London. There’s an overground service that runs from Shoreditch High Street, or you can catch the Northern Line, overground or National Rail from Old Street. You can also hop on a bus, or if you prefer to cycle, we have ample bike storage.

Are The Brew office spaces green?

We are proud of our green credentials and are always looking for new and innovative ways to make our spaces more environmentally friendly. In both our office spaces and The Coffice, we are committed to using recyclable products and minimising waste.

Many of our spaces are equipped with the latest energy-saving technology including state-of-the-art air-conditioning and airflow systems, infrared sensor lights, energy-efficient LED panels and a Cat 6 lighting system with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology.

What types of memberships are available?

We aim to be as flexible as possible, so we have various membership levels which provide access to different facilities and services.

What’s included in hotdesking membership?

Hotdesking membership provides access to our Coffice café and our community facilities including super-fast 1Gb internet. You’ll also get generous access to meeting rooms, exclusive offers and discounts and regular business seminars, events and meetups.

What’s included in the coworking and private office memberships?

These are our top-tier memberships and benefit from round-the-clock secure access to your office space, unlimited access to meeting rooms at no extra cost, regular events, seminars and meetups, superfast 1Gb internet, VPN and phone lines. You can also benefit from additional services such as professional business coaching.

As a member of The Brew, you will have access to our global network of office spaces and conference rooms. So, if you need a flexible, well-situated coworking space in New York, Chicago, Moscow, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv, Zagreb, Belgrade or 10 city locations across Germany – simply book online via your Member’s Access portal.

Is there a minimum membership period that we sign up to?

With our virtual and hotdesk options, you can cancel at any time. We do just ask for two months’ worth of notice when cancelling coworking, and three months when cancelling private office memberships.

I’m just starting up; can I still use The Brew?

Yes of course, we are open to all entrepreneurs and businesses, and can accommodate you through your initial growth and beyond.

Can I change my membership?

Our membership structure is designed to ensure that we grow with your business, without hindering you in any way. You can choose to move up or down through our structure whenever you need to.

How quickly can I join?

As quickly as you need to. If you wanted to pop into our Coffice, you can do so anytime you like between 8am-5:30pm and you don’t need to let us know, simply turn up.

If you’d like to join us as a hotdesker, you’ll just need to complete our joining form, and we’ll contact you to arrange your first day. If you’d like to start a coworking membership, contact our Community Managers on 020 7770 6283 to get started.

What support do I get from my Community Manager?

Starting with an initial consultation whereby we identify your needs and the right membership, we also then offer comprehensive office tours and an overview of the location of each to ensure you’re choosing the right space, with the right facilities. Community Managers are then available 8am-6pm Monday to Friday to offer support, answering any queries and helping to resolve any issues.
